People talk like God's story is only happening in one place. But that's just not true. If you really look at the Bible, you can see Africa is right there, tied into the whole thing from the start. It was in Africa that baby Moses was kept safe. It was an African, Simon from Cyrene, who carried the cross for Jesus on the worst day of His life. And right from the beginning, when the Holy Spirit fell at Pentecost, Africans were in the room hearing it happen. God wasn't just looking at one part of the world. He had a plan for all of it. He used Africa to protect His people, to help His Son, and to spread the Gospel. That tells me He has always had His eye on it. He has always had His people there. The story of faith isn't complete without remembering that Africa was always in God's plan. It wasn't an afterthought; it was right there in the middle of everything from the very start.
